The humanity of tomorrow is built today — with young people.
That’s why the Humanity Index is launching a crowdfunding campaign for an innovative initiative: Being Human at School.

What is this project?
It’s simple.
Inspired by the Being Human test already available online, we are adapting the concept for high school students across Quebec. Students will evaluate themselves on 14 key human behaviors, through a quick and simple self-assessment.
We will also ask them to assess the social climate in their school.
What does it mean for students?
A simple 3-minute test built around 14 human behaviors.
Each behavior becomes a question, and students answer using only two choices:
- I’m doing well
- I could do better
Students receive instant results, along with comparisons that encourage reflection and self-awareness.
What does it mean for schools?
Schools gain access to students’ perceptions of the social climate within their school.
The results provide a unique portrait of student attitudes and behaviors, including areas where challenges may exist.
Data will be segmented by:
- Grade level (Secondary 1–5)
- Gender
- Academic program
- Class group
These insights create powerful opportunities for targeted actions and meaningful solutions.
They also provide valuable tools for teachers, helping open constructive conversations with students.
