Generosity, again, always and everywhere

Generosity, the best way to improve our humanity
Is generosity the universal value defining our humanity? It seems so. Well, in North America at least. The Canada/U.S. study clearly indicates to us that the generosity dimension is the one that has the most influence on the perception of our society’s humanity. Whether one is Canadian or American.
Decrease generosity and you decrease our humanity. Increase it and you will see the opposite effect. It is difficult to claim otherwise in light of these results, results which were the same for the study conducted in 2024 in Canada.
Strange paradox
But if generosity has so much influence here in Canada and, below, in the United States, how is it that it is evaluated so low when it comes to its strength? This dimension occupies respectively, for its strength, the 8th and 9th ranks for the United States and Canada. Put another way, we weakly evaluate what seems to us to be the best for society.
Generosity demands the two things that are most precious to us. Time and money. We never have the time to listen, to help, to lend a hand, and we never have enough money to give to those who need it.
Everything for oneself and not much for others in the end. Generosity is the expression of the WE. And we are in a society where the I prevails.
So, what will you choose to do tomorrow to reverse the trend?
