It was in September 2023 that the idea of the Humanity Index was born. Thirteen months later, it has become concrete and well-established.

But for an idea to grow and become real, it needs help, listening, and openness. Help that starts with the very first person who lent an ear to the project, then a second, a third, eventually creating a snowball effect.

To all those who took the time to listen, to everyone who got involved in any way with the project, to all the partners and collaborators who helped move it forward, to our committed and convinced administrators, and to our ambassadors, without whom the Humanity Index would still be just an idea, thank you.
